We've rented the last two seasons and have watched them non-stop for the
last two days now. Season 5 was the only one we hadn't seen, but a friend of
my girlfriends said it was sooo sad.....WTF She didn't even tell what disc
it's on or the episode.....
Help

I don't understand. You say you've seen season 4, but you don't
know what happens to Lisa? We found out what happened to her in the
season 4 finale.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I know Lisa dies, but the story surrounding her death
is supposed to be very sad. Like the "real" way she died. I know it's said
she drowns, but later in season 5 he (Nate) say's something about her
sleeping with her brother-in-law and the possibility of him killing her???

Or am I a total idiot and missed it is season 4?

Umm... Are you /sure/ you've seen season 4? Or maybe you just
missed the finale (episode 51 "Untitled")? There's /no way/ you'd
be asking this question if you'd seen it.

I've watched all 5 seasons, and when I saw this post, I also had to
stop and think about what really happened to Lisa. I recall the episode
in season 4 now, and I'm wondering - are we not sharing this
information, in order to not spoil it for anyone?

So rather than sharing it, I won't, unless someone tells me to. But
again, this is my best guess - as the answer is a little vague. I don't
think it was ever truly revealed exactly how she died - but it gave
some strong hints.

Well, I guess you're right we don't know /exactly/ how Lisa died,
but we do know the cause of death was drowning, and that her
brother-in-law Hoyt, with whom she'd had a secret affair in the
past, drove down and met her at the last place she was known to be
alive. And that she'd threatened to come clean about the affair,
and that Hoyt later told Nate something like "I couldn't let her
tell Barb [Hoyt's wife, Lisa's sister], I just couldn't" right
before he blew his brains out...
