Was on a two-week vacation out-of-state when SFU finale aired and just
returned home.

When arriving at our destination for first 3 nights of vacation, we
stayed a motel who claimed they had HBO but didn't!

So for Sun night 8/21 (last night we were in that particular area) we
moved to another motel just down the street so I could see the finale!
:-)

Not sure if anyone else commented on this, but one thing I noticed was
as far as I know for the first time ending credits were black letters on
white background instead of white letters on black background.

Maybe I'm incorrect about this ... but the color swap stood out to me
right away as the credits rolled.

Now that the series has ended, I feel like I've lost part of my family
-- don't recall ever feeling that way at the end of a series before.

Been fun reading the posts in the group over the years knowing there are
many out there who enjoyed this wonderful series as much as I have.

Yes, I noticed the reverse color of the credits. Also, this seemed to
be the first time the credits actually rolled slow enough to read
without taping (or TiVo'ing) and pausing the screen to read them.

Thanks for pointing that out... I had this odd feeling there was something
different about the credits but didn't know till I read yur post.
