It's possible that Rico dies from a stroke, but he did the classic
'grab-the-left-arm' before falling dead. It doesn't happen all that often
in real life, but in Hollywood that's a scene staple to convey every heart
attack.

A heart attack has one of two signs that are first perceived, a pain in the
left arm because that's the first part of the body to reflect lack of
oxygenation. That's the drop dead sign. Hope you are near the ER door if
this happens.

The other is the crushing feeling on the chest that feels like someone is
sitting on you, or sometimes described as an indigestion feeling that stops
your breathing. That one gives you a chance to get to the hospital fast.

Also a symptom of major depression.

The two can be related. Often a heart attack is caused
by a "scab" on inner blood vessel breaking loose and
blocking a previously constricted artery in the heart,
brain (stroke), lung, legs, etc. Sometimes its a matter
of which direction the scab goes first. And whether it
starves a lower or higher brain function for quick death
or slow retardation.

How about the one where you grab your chest, look like your in
incredible pain, and fall down on the ground and die?

The way Rico's death scene was shot it was impossible to tell if he
looked like he was in incredible pain. For all we know, it could've
been an Al Jolson impersonation gone horribly wrong.

LOL. Yeah I guess he died from a lack of imagination, like Lisa did in
season four...
