Billy grabbing Ted's beer

[in Brenda's kitchen]
Billy (to Ted): I'm so jealous of you... (awkwardly grabs Ted's beer while
Ted is holding it)
Ted: Excuse me. (and he walks away)

Shot of Billy realizing "I said the wrong fucking thing *again*. I am such
a fuck-up" (as he shakes his head slightly)

Maybe it was a phallic thing.

when he did it, I took it as having sexual undertones, like Billy was
jealous that Ted was now doing Claire and the grabbling of the beer that way
was sexual jealousy

It struck me as a slightly awkward 'make peace' handshake, though Ted
clearly felt uncomfortable.

Speaking of Billy, didn't he have a white cane when Brenda died?

While he was talking he didn't seem to be looking directly at her.

i took it to mean, that he was just rambling on eyes bouncing all over the
place, while boring the shit out of brenda.

he seemed to notice (ie: see) pretty quickly when brenda nodded off/died,
and he hobbled directly to her using his cane.

it just didn't seem like he was blind to me, and there was no german shepard
there :-)

It was like a walker cane, and he used it to get up off the couch with.

Yes, and he kept talking and talking. Did he finally "talk her to death"?
(That was actually my first thought when seeing it...)

Did he finally "talk her to
death"?
He said, "you wanna touch it?"

And then she keeled over.

No more: quit yanking my chain; instead: quit grabbling my beer, dude.
